In early spring the plant's leaves display a golden edge, and by mid-summer stripes and swatches of pink give the foliage a water-colored appearance. In mid to late spring, June in our garden, expect creamy-white flowers with incredible staying power and in fall, leaves turn a vivid red--the summer gold dogwood is truly a multi-season performer.
