Rose Tree (Standard 24") - Orchid Romance

Pass by this rose on a good day and its strong, citrus fragrance will take you somewhere special. The color of this rose ranges from medium to dark pink with undertones of lavender.. Forms an abundant mound atop a sturdy tree stem!

To plant your standard tree rose, give the pot plenty of water and then dig a hole that is 60 centimetres by 40 centimetres (or a little bit bigger than the nursery container).  With a fork, break up the soil at the hole’s base. When removing the plant from its container, especially if it is early in the season, exercise extra caution. Tap the pot’s edge with the palm of the hand while holding the rose’s stem in the other hand. As you remove the root ball, keep the soil and root ball together. In the centre of the hole, place the rose upright. Backfill the hole around the rose with the soil that was dug when the hole was first made. After that, use your foot to lightly compact the soil around the rose. Water the rose well once planted. Staking your rose standard is recommend for the first couple years, as it get established.
